Hello!!!

I loved my exchange to Southampton So Much! Everyone who has the opportunity to go abroad, must do it! Although it is fairly easy to speak English, it is not easy to actually get some things done!I Have a look at 25/09 spaghetti

There has been an evolution in the making of friends. The first month I was part of a group of about 6 girls. We did some travelling together. In the end, we were not each others cup of thee!! After that I had dinner parties with Marion (France), Alexandra (Poland), Alex (Germany), Jasper (Netherlands) , Nino (Austria) and Hanna (Finland). To some people very boring, but while having dinner, lots of cultural differences were being discussed! This was hilarious, because you need to be very careful! Why very careful? Well, it seems that the only thing we do in general is to stereotype. For example, did you know (people from Belgium) that the French think we are silly!! So, next time you introduce yourself to French people, look them deeply in their eyes because they are probably thinking that they are wasting their time speaking to a stupid Belgian!!! ;) If you want to offend someone from Finland, just say that they are Russian!! (DO NOT!)

I like "Southampton Institute, University College" a lot! To me, they are very well organized! To study in Britain is VERY expensive, but you do get quality in return. There are so many courses and many more classes to choose from. My courses Cultural Influence and Persuasion & Influence are courses better known as ROCKET SCIENCE! These instructors are so well skilled! These classes have become my addiction. I really liked the people from my advertising course. Thanks to the girlguide project, Hanna and me had the chance to get to know more about the English culture.

English people are very friendly, ALWAYS. If you need help, just ask!!! They also have the tendency to always say "sorry". The first week I was annoyed, because we only say sorry if we are really sorry!! They are friendly, BUT ... It is realy difficult to get to know them as they are at first very reluctant. Once you have been accepted, everything is OK!!

Trips Keep having that summer holiday feeling as long as you can! Stonehenge, The Isle of Wight, Winchester, Portsmouth, Bath, London and Schotland! I have so many pictures, I only selected a few for this website.

New Friends I have met a lot of people here. All with different personalities, dreams and goals. I have found myself some very good travelling friends en cooking friends!

d id mauris.
