Projects
Sounds stupid, but I really like taking part in projects! Start from
scratch and build a huge presentation, yeah, I could almost live on that
alone!!! On the left hand side you see my girlguide group, the only one
missing is Rachel who is takin the picture, of course! I have a project
on the Girlguiding Movement, Youth culture and The Austrian architect
Otto Wagner. I have to make an assignment on jewellery, another one for
Persuasion and Influence and two for Cultural Influence. Now, the one
on Youth culture did not end very well. I quit! I really could not work
together with the first year students. Well, one team member, Luke, he
is Ok and Sexy as well!
I can listen to the lecturer of Cultural Influence for ages! He knows
of course! Marc Farwell (Cultural Influence) and Ann Hill (persuasion
and influence), they really know what they are talking about. Therefore
it is a really hard job to get those assignments done well!
General English
For our assignment II we had to write a little piece about ourselves.

Cultural Influence
Find the answer on: What is consumer desire and how is it embodied in
early advertising?
Consumer desire is the religion of the late twentieth century. It is a
new type of society: “A society built upon the thirst for novelty.”

Girlguiding
Our aim was to design a promotional strategy that will encourage more
people, within the New Forest area, to volunteer as Leaders in the Girlguiding
Movement. Today, everything is a business, there is no such thing as plain
leisure. The aim is to try to change the image in a professional way without
changing any principals, values and beliefs the Girlguiding movement stands
for. Our group even built a website: girlguides.tripod.com
